OnlyFans age verification UK

OnlyFans age verification UK matters to creators because a subscriber who cannot finish the check cannot pay you. OnlyFans told Ofcom that UK fans complete a third-party selfie age estimate and give a legal name, email and payment details. Creators themselves pass a fuller ID check before the account opens.

OnlyFans Yoti age verification is the supplier name in an earlier Ofcom VSP report, which said OnlyFans had told Ofcom it used Yoti and Ondato. The March 2025 decision describes facial age estimation and a challenge age, and does not restate the supplier. Fansly age verification UK, beyond an 18-and-age-of-majority rule, is not in the Fansly terms we read. Fanvue age verification is published: Ondato, a selfie or face scan, then a document check if needed, for viewers in the UK.

Is Fanvue Ofcom compliant?

Is Fanvue Ofcom compliant is not a certificate we can award. Fanvue's policy names the UK under Ofcom's Protection of Children Codes from July 2025 and describes the check. Whether that meets the duty is Ofcom's judgement. The same page on this site explains the methods Ofcom lists as capable, and the ones it does not, including a tick-box.

In March 2025 Ofcom fined OnlyFans' provider £1.05 million for inaccurate information about its challenge age. That was not a ban. If a subscriber says a selfie failed, they use the platform's own support. You cannot complete their check for them.

Questions people ask

Do I use the subscriber selfie tool to open my creator account?

No. Creator verification is the ID and liveness path described on the verification guide. The subscriber estimate is a different check.
