OnlyFans Creator Chargeback Rules (2026)

An OnlyFans creator chargeback is the creator's problem under the terms, not a fee the platform promises to absorb. The OnlyFans chargeback policy says that if a subscriber gets a refund or a chargeback, OnlyFans may deduct the creator-earnings portion. OnlyFans chargeback protection, as a promise that you keep the money anyway, is not what section 10 says.

Subscribers agree not to file unjustified chargebacks. That clause binds them. It does not insure you. A payout you have already withdrawn can still be clawed back from later earnings if the terms allow the deduction.

The same risk on the other platforms

Fansly chargeback protection is not a promise in the terms we read. Fansly may deduct revenue from subscriptions, sales or tips that resulted in a chargeback, and it may suspend the subscriber.

Fanvue chargebacks can be deducted from the creator balance. Above a 1.5% dispute rate in any rolling 30 days, Fanvue may charge USD 50 for each extra dispute. That fee can be waived. Referral commission is reversed when the sale is reversed.

Fancentro may deduct creator earnings on a refunded payment and does not reduce its own 20% fee. ManyVids says uploaders assume chargeback risk and may hold back payouts. JustFor.Fans documents how you refund a custom order, and does not state a card-scheme chargeback rule. FansOne's chargeback rule is unverified.

What to keep

Keep the message thread and the delivery record for custom work. If you are paid in dollars, the clawback may be in dollars even if your bank already converted the original credit. This is not legal advice. The contract you accepted is the one inside the product.
